Last time I introduced the rough outline for this blog. I proposed that instead of acting for the sake of “good governance” we, as rightists, should be seeking strategic victories that grant us power and takes power away from our enemies. Fortunately for the sake of your still beautiful hearts Freedom Cities happen to be an example that fits both categories.

Freedom Cities first entered the political conversation when Trump proposed them during his 2024 campaign, highlighting the project effects on housing for young Americans and job growth. This program was heavily based on Charter Cities such as Próspera, although they focus more on being international centers for free commerce as opposed to national projects. The program would involve federal land in the West being doled out to private contractors to create 10 new cities each approximately 70 square miles in size. Looking at the populations of similarly sized cities, the initial populations would be around 200,000-300,000 people each.

Unfortunately, this project seems to have been swiftly forgotten shortly after it was proposed. This is a major loss. While not nearly the most important of Trump’s campaign policies it was one of the most innovative and forward thinking ones. There is no doubt that overregulation is one of the main causes for the drastic housing shortage that hangs over the youth. Moreover, job growth is good both for the people as a whole and for Trump’s approval rating. But even in this seemingly innovative policy the seeds of rightist unambition can be seen. To fully understand this we’ll need to take a closer look at why the right seems to always lose.

Cosmopolitanism

There is a bad habit on the right of disparaging city life and justifying retreat into the provinces. Critiques of failed city governance are often one of the first steps in converting liberals into moderate rightists. There is a reason “getting mugged by reality” is a common way that this is described. Are muggings typically associated with Appalachia? Not exactly.

Despite this, cities have power. As far back as Sumer, civilization is centered around cities. Industry and culture coalesce in metropolitan area, which leads to money and prestige flooding in after it. It’s no secret that leftists have dominated American cities at least since Roosevelt’s Coup, with the stable coalition of high minded progressives chasing prestige and their permanent underclass combining forces to create de facto one party states.

The reason for this that goes beyond the nature of leftism itself. True political elites always reside in the cities. Under Hamilton, during one of the few eras of true right wing ascendency in American history, the Federalists dominated New York, Boston, and Philadelphia. This is not a coincidence. Political organization and power need to be centralized, and the organized minorities that reign in all societies must be able to communicate efficiently. While simply saying “take the cities back over” would be easy, it doesn’t seem to be practical. We need to find a backdoor.

Forming a Counter Elite

If the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the following “MAGA civil war” can tell us one thing it is that the right lacks class. Being raw and off the cuff can be useful to appeal to the common man, but at its core it shows a sense of desperation and a lack of legitimacy. This lack of class is the result of a lack or organization and intelligence. A ruling elite does not act crass. It doesn’t have to. Unfortunately we can’t just go buy some class from the class store, it has to be cultivated and grown. More particularly it has to be grown within a small segment of the population that is both devoted to political realignment in favor of their tribe and who are intelligent enough to grasp it. It requires an elite.

And where do elites thrive? Not in the country, but in the cities! If you want right wing culture go to the right wing cities and you’ll find it there, simple as. No need to be represented purely by Dimes Square (if it even still exists) when you could go to downtown Trumpville on a Friday night. Unfortunately, it is still not that simple. You need to give people, especially young intelligent people, a reason to come and to embrace your political project.

This is the key reason why, as I said earlier, this happens to be a proposal that both gives us power and acts as good governance. We are literally better at everything. These cities would be a prime example of how common sense governance is leagues better than and “public policy recommendation”. Imagine a new beltway of Singapores sprinkled throughout the west. Cops, or better yet soldiers, on every street corner at every hour of the day. Every felony carries an extra 10-20 years when committed in a Freedom city. It doesn’t matter what the states say, if you’re caught smoking weed or engaging in prostitution in a Freedom City you are going to prison. You’re homeless? Leave. Where should you go? I really don’t care. Give minor jail time for littering, and enforce it. All inmates will work to keep our city clean. Clean and beautiful cities attract clean and beautiful people.

And that’s to say nothing about the money that will pour in. The prospect of a city that doesn’t try to strangle businesses for literally no reason would be enticing like nothing else. Big business has been fleeing the west coast for the better part of a decade now, imagine if they could stay in the region? Most would probably prefer Nevada to Texas or Florida. Political favors could be cashed in to get these cities up and running. Money would be no object.

Patriot Boards

To become the center for a rightist counter elite all that’s left is for them to actually be right wing. This cannot be implicit, it must be stated and stated loudly. As Robert Conquest’s second law states “Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left-wing.” The first and most obvious way to do this is to have loyal patriots heading the development. By patriots I means proper patriots, not wishy washy libertarians like Musk. Patriots who know they are embarking on an explicitly political mission will naturally surround themselves by other patriots, and keep the goal of acquiring political power at the front of their minds. Still, once the city is up and running there will still be the threat of infiltration through either explicit infiltration or refugees from California.

Patriot Boards are one tool that could mitigate it. Each city will have boards of 10 patriots for each section. These boards will be a key regulatory institution that all businesses must go through if they want to operate in a Freedom City. Their job is simple; maintain right wing control over our city. The fact that it is a body of political control must still be obvious, even if publicly denied. Creating a right wing version of ESG scores would also their responsibility. A minimum Americanism score would be required to get a permit, and any decline in score will result in said permits cancellation. High Americanism scores will result in public praises, and ideally further investment by friendly financers.

As a charter city, the ability to skirt around typical democratic governance within the city is already partially given to you. Use it to your full extent, at least until your counter elite is up and running. Once you have the beginnings of a consolidated elite you can get to the real work. Right wing entertainment, right wing universities, right wing art, right wing coffee shops, and movie theaters, and bowling alleys. Have protest organizations mobilize the people for right wing causes, whether yearly events like the march for life or spontaneous events in response to specific policies. Once created these institutions don’t have to stay within the city walls, but, if competent, will spread out across the country. A thousand new nodes for rightists to leverage power out of spreading out from the rocky mountains.

Effort, Risk, and Reward

In terms of effort this proposition is a clear mix between low and mid. It involves more than simply signing a bill, but also would elicit much less opposition than many other valuable policies. The monetary cost would be minimal as the entire point of the project is to have the land developed by private developers. It would also most likely be popular, as it clearly satiates the need for housing, which most under 60 understand is a necessity.

It is not at all a risky policy. In the worst case scenarios either leftists take over the city or the project never gets off the ground. We are simply back where we started either way.

The rewards would be solidly mid sized. Having a counter elite doesn’t instantly grant us victory, but it is an incredibly important first step. For further explanation see the rest of the article.

It should be clear to everyone now over a year into Trump II that achieving victory involves a lot more than simply winning elections. Seemingly this information was not properly passed along to our great president. Alas, such are the troubles of the 21st century.

If you want to win don’t declare that you have won before the game begins. Sorry, the “Golden Age” doesn’t spontaneously construct itself when you sit in the big chair. In fact, the process of bettering the nation for the sake of future generations will be incredibly painful. Many people will get hurt. Some will die.

Since it for some reason needs to be said, no, I am not voting democrat during the midterms. That would be retarded. I also still think that the second Trump admin has been the single greatest administration for the American people in the past half century. That doesn’t change the fact that the administration has shown itself to be remarkably unambitious on a number of matters. This is a good example. Look at this Patriot of Patriots, who clearly believes in the mission, who has constantly refused to apologize for any of his actions. I’m just saying, our boyars aren’t looking too bad right now. When’s the last time you heard DOGE mentioned? I imagine its been a minute.

Or look at Minneapolis. Lol. Lmao. Noem and Bovino both out of their jobs, no more indiscriminate round ups, all in exchange for ICE being allowed to arrest only criminal illegals. Not exactly Caesar at Alesia. When’s the last time you saw ICE agents at a Home Depot? I imagine its been a minute.

Can we truly chalk this up to the influence of outside forces? I don’t think so. There was nothing stopping the admin from invoking the insurrection act in Minneapolis, nor was pressure from activist and the courts so harsh on DOGE that the whole project needed to be canned.

And all this backing down for what? Are Dems clamoring to reward Trump for his good boy behavior? Clearly not, look at the SAVE act. 80/20 issue btw. Oh, hey, also, turns out Thune’s a faggot. Lol. Get pwnd. This marriage with the establishment doesn’t seem to be working out well now does it?

I’m not saying this to blackpill you, but we have to be realistic. You can critique your own side without being a turncoat. To begin digging ourselves out of this hole we have to know which direction is up. What is the purpose of right wing politics? Many people will give you many highly intelligent and principled answers. None of them are relevant.

The goal is victory.

Winning. Getting what you want. Defeating your enemies. I know, crazy concept. How do we define victory? Simple, “A strategic victory is a victory that makes other victories possible.” We want power so we can get more power, so we can use that power to crush leftism.

Unfortunately this whole leftism thing goes pretty deep into our institutions. Maybe could try to do surgery, minimize the damage? But the patient would probably squirm, and it would be, like, pretty gross. Starting over’s probably a safer bet. Out with the old and in with the new, as they say.

And here lies the problem. Those who wish to conserve the world as it is today from the threat of leftism are forced to destroy the world as it is today. To be “conservative” is contradiction. We live in a system that can only be sustained by feasting upon itself. Until us on the right can harden ourselves and shake our commitments to silly things like “the constitution” or “fair play” we will continue to lose. Let ugliness take over our beautiful hearts.

So that’s settled. We seek power for the sake of power. A victory is a victory if it either gives us power or takes power away from our enemies. As I see it there are two categories of analysis that shouldn’t be confused. The first is what the best way to run our government is. The second is what the best way to coup our government is. A NYC to DC high speed rail line would certainly be something a Good Government™ would do, but not something our budding counter elite should waste resources on. Furthermore, gutting American universities will certainly hurt our ability to compete with Chinese research programs, but it will most likely be necessary.

Here’s how we’ll continue: each new article will look at one proposal for achieving victory, small or large. I’ll rank them on estimated effort, risk, and reward. Ideally more niche proposals will be highlighted, simply for the sake of your enjoyment. I know how you crave novelty. Along with niche good ideas I’ll also be looking at popular bad ideas, because if there’s anything that gets clicks better than novelty it’s hate. Maybe if I eventually run out of power generating proposals I’ll swap to tools for a post-victory government, but for now we’ll be limited to the here and now.
